We have some exciting news: Not only is AdhearsionConf back for 2012, but we also have a new location. And not just any location: thanks to our friends at AT&T, we will be holding AdhearsionConf in the sweet digs of The Foundry, AT&T's innovation incubator! Located in downtown Palo Alto, it's only a short train ride away from our former location at NextSpace.
This year promises to be a big year for AdhearsionConf. At the last AdhearsionConf we announced the roadmap and features planned for Adhearsion 2.0. I am proud to say that we achieved almost everything on that list! This year we will talk a lot about how Adhearsion evolved for 2.0, demonstrate some of the really cool things you can do with the new features, and talk more about where the project is going.
This also means that our Call for Presentations is now open. If you have something interesting to share with the Adhearsion community, we invite you to join us and show your stuff.
For the first time ever, we are also going to be offering a day of professional Adhearsion training on the Friday before conference. This will be a full day, packed with hands-on guidance from two of the Adhearsion Core team: Ben Klang and Ben Langfeld. It is the perfect way to get direct experience with Adhearsion 2.0 and see its full potential. We will also cover setting up PRISM (with the exciting new Rayo protocol!) and Asterisk for use with Adhearsion, which was one of the most requested things we heard about last year. Details and registration for this training session will be announced soon.
